Tom Everhart

Tom Everhart is the only fine artist in the world authorized by Charles M. Schulz to paint the Peanuts characters in his own work — a creative permission no artist before or since has ever received. Everhart's large-scale, gesturally expressive paintings of Snoopy, Charlie Brown, and the rest of the Peanuts cast translate Schulz's beloved characters into the language of abstract expressionism, Pop, and contemporary fine art.

Everhart's friendship with Schulz, which began in the 1980s, gave him unprecedented access and intellectual partnership with one of America's most beloved cartoonists. His paintings hang in the collections of Whoopi Goldberg, Goldie Hawn, Snoop Dogg, Nicolas Cage, and the Schulz estate itself, and have been exhibited internationally including at the Louvre.

About the Artist

Tom Everhart is the only fine artist Charles Schulz personally authorized to use the Peanuts imagery in original work. The two were close friends and collaborators for nearly two decades until Schulz's death in 2000, and Everhart has continued the work with the full ongoing endorsement of the Schulz family and estate.

His paintings transform Snoopy, Charlie Brown, Woodstock, and the rest of the Peanuts cast into large-scale, gestural fine-art compositions. Drawing on abstract expressionism, pop art, and graffiti, Everhart's work reinterprets the most familiar characters in American culture with unexpected energy — capturing their essence while exploring themes of humor, nostalgia, and the human condition.

His work has been exhibited at the Carrousel du Louvre in Paris, the Reagan Library, the Smithsonian, and in galleries and museums worldwide. Everhart's originals and limited editions are held in major private and corporate collections and have a strong, growing secondary market.

At Gol Art we present Tom Everhart originals and limited editions across his most collected Peanuts-inspired series. Each piece is personally inspected and authenticated.
